I wanted to thank you again for hosting me At Stony Brook during my sabbatical at the 5 Colleges. It turned out to be the perfect peaceful, well cared for haven in which to do my research. I recommend Stony Brook to other scholars seeking a quiet environment in which to read and work.

I was so happy to FINALLY find a non smoking, no dogs, quite place to live. I worked at the Baystate Hospital and was only a 15 min. drive. An awesome county setting and for a great price. The landlords run a tight ship. I was so glad to note that someone was smoking (non smoking complex) and they were evicted and moved out in 7 days. They have 0 tolerance for noise, inconsiderate neighbors, and smokers. My job now has taken me to the West Coast and I will miss Stony Brook and the owners. Dr. Judy Ann Marceau- 2014
It was hard finding a non-smoking apartment complex. The central air conditioning and heat is great, especially with it being included in my rent each month. The owners of the complex run a top knotch palce with a caring and helpful staff. It was a perfect place for my graduate studies. I enjoyed my stay with them. As a professional couple, we were pleased with our 2 year stay at the Stony Brook Lodge. The location is convenient to the five colleges and an easy 20 minute commute to Springfield. The tenants are quiet, the grounds are well maintained and the apartments are clean. Snow removal from the parking lot is especially good! Larry, MD & Peggy, MD. 2013
Stony Brook is a great plcae to live, especially for the money! I love the open floor plan, which leads itself to being brightly lit with a lot of natural sunlight. The rent is very reasonable, especially if you consider the heat, a/c, hot water, electric, cable tv, and wireless high speed internet is all included! Also, this is one of the most well-maintained places that I have ever lived in (and I have rented all over the country.) Angela Sauers, Professor of Chemistry - Western New England College. 2012
Living at Stony Brook is ultra convenient. The grounds are kept spotless and snow is somehow removed almost before it hits the ground. The apartment are new and clean, providing a great place to live. The are no distractions or headaches of loud andinconsiderate neighbors, which is ideal for a focused graduate student like myself. You will find that Jim, Diane, Beverly, and David are attentive to all suggestions. Even when I had a dead battery in my car, they were there to help out and make life easier. Roger Silvers PhD, Isenberg School of Business - University of Massachusetts. 2012.
I have enjoyed my stay here, and I appreciate all your kind hospitality. I certainly will recommend your placeto other professors or educators from the college.

During the construction of our families new home we stayed at Stonybrook. This lodge is quality built and we were very comfortable with the central a/c, and beautiful landscape grounds. The property is well maintained and the owners are very hospitable.

I have been staying in hotels in downtown Springfield and found them too constricting. Stony Brook gave me a lot more room, ability to cook for myself, and the ability to park my car at my door and still have a short drive to downtown. No problem getting a peaceful night's sleep. I will certainly recommend Stony Brook to anyone.

My stay at the Stonybrook Lodge was very satisfying. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the staff very hospitable. For individuals having a need for transitional housing I recommend the Stonybrook Lodge enthusiactically.
